Manufacturer Recipe for 12 Servings

Ingredient Full box
Vermont Curry roux 1 box (230g)
Meat 500g
Onions 4 medium (800g)
Potatoes 3 medium (450g)
Carrot 1 medium (200g)
Cooking oil 2 tablespoons
Water 1,400mL without a lid, or 1,250mL when cooking with a lid

How to Prepare

  1. Heat the oil in a heavy pot and cook the bite-size meat and vegetables over medium heat until the onions soften.
  2. Add the specified water, remove surface foam, and simmer over low to medium heat for about 15 minutes, or until the ingredients are tender.
  3. Turn off the heat. Break in the curry roux and stir until completely dissolved.
  4. Return to low heat and simmer for about 10 minutes, stirring occasionally, until thickened.

For half a box, House Foods specifies half the meat and vegetables, with 850mL water without a lid or 750mL with a lid. Cooking results vary with the pot, ingredients, and heat level.

Before You Order

  • Select Mild, Medium Hot, or Hot from the options.
  • The gallery may show all three packages for comparison; the order contains only the selected 230g box.
  • This is curry roux that requires cooking, not a ready-to-eat curry pouch.
  • Store unopened product according to the package directions. Seal and refrigerate unused roux after opening, following the label instructions.
  • Refer to the delivered Japanese label for the current ingredients, allergens, best-before date, and storage directions.
